Study and learning visits

SQA International will make your learning and study visit to Scotland as rewarding as possible both professionally and personally. Our team has vast experience in providing visitors with highly personalised and flexible programmes of study and learning which directly meet their needs.

These programmes can range from short briefing visits (lasting from half a day to two days) to stays of up to two-to-three weeks for specialised, in-depth studying and learning. SQA International learning and study visits can, for example:

• explore Scottish education and training
• inform on the role of SQA within the context of Scottish education and training - its responsibilities and interfaces with other educational agencies
• provide insight into SQA qualifications and how they work
• outline and explain the range of SQA services on offer - its approval, accreditation, awarding, certification, and quality assurance functions
• advise on aspects of and developments in the Scottish VET and school education systems
• establish networks between organisations, for example, by linking schools to schools, colleges to colleges, education sectors to industry sectors, and supporting co-working between Scottish and international organisations

SQA International can also arrange for culture, tourism and leisure activities to be built into any programme if requested.
