Scottish Further Education Unit
Works in partnership with all colleges in Scotland, as well as other key national agencies, supporting the development of learning and teaching in Scotland. Through support of staff and curriculum they aim to play a leading role in the creation of a world class Further Education sytem. Their Subject Network Gateway has been set up to provide a communication facilitating and signposting service.

Is a mailing list service sponsored by the JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) for the UK Higher and Further Education communities, enabling members to stay in touch and share information by e-mail or via the web. Quick links to subject-specific lists are provided from the HN subject pages available on this website.

Futureskills Scotland
Futureskills Scotland is part of Scottish Enterprise and Highlands & Islands Enterprise. Its aim is to help people, employers and others to make decisions using labour market intelligence. Futureskills Scotland achieve this by:

Undertaking relevant and useful analysis of information to assist individuals, employers and other interested organisations to make more informed decisions in the Scottish labour market.
Improving the overall availability, quality and consistency of labour market information and intelligence across Scotland and to promote full and effective use of this resource
Working closely with partner organisations to provide information and services to support their strategy development operations.
