Publication of External Assessment Reports (formerly known as Principal Assessor Reports)

We are pleased to announce that the annual External Assessment Reports for National Courses and Standard Grade in 2008 are now available on our website. The External Assessment Report provides information on the performance of candidates in 2008 which we hope will enhance understanding of national standards for these qualifications and assist with delivery and assessment of learning. These reports can be found in the 'Subject-specific links' menu of the relevant subject page.

We are also pleased to announce that annual Course Reports are available for the following Courses: English, Mathematics, French, Music, Drama, Graphic Communication, Physical Education and Hospitality. The Course Report contains all information on internal and external assessment for the subject in the one place. This provides an easier way of making a comparison across levels and year and offers support in achieving consistency in national standards across levels for both internal and external assessment.
