Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Welcome to SQA's Freedom of Information web page.  This section of the website is here to ensure that SQA fully meets its obligations under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and to contribute to our aim of being an open and transparent organisation.

You can access SQA's Publication Scheme by following the link below.  The Publication Scheme sets out the various types of information that we hold, and the ways it can be made available.  it also aims to provide a useful way of gaining an insight into our procedures and decision making.

Should you be unable to find the information you require from our Publication Scheme, please complete the Freedom of Information Request Form below.  You can submit this online, or by sending a hard copy to:

Please note that, should you require information of a personal nature, a separate Data Subject Access Request form must be completed under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998.  Please be aware that, under Schedule 7 of this Act, examination scripts are exempt.  Access to examination scripts is also exempt under Freedom of Information legislation.
