SVQ Built Environment Design SCQF level 6

Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) recognise competence in job-related skills and are based on National Occupational Standards.

This SVQ covers areas such as producing and recommending detailed design solutions and maintaining professional relationships and practice. There are also options to study more specific topics, such as investigating factors affecting project development, surveys, reporting, drawing, schedules, tenders and monitoring projects — all in the context of built environment design.

This qualification is jointly awarded with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) to ensure relevance to the sector.

This qualification is available through employers and training providers.
