Develop: Phase 4 - group award specification

The group award specification (GAS) is a dynamic document that evolves naturally as part of the development process by building on information sourced at various stages. Once the qualification is validated, the GAS will assist centres to implement, deliver and manage it.

The GAS template (99 KB) has guidance on what information is required in each section. Once the GAS is written, the writer should refer to the Group Award specification checklist 4 – writer (70 KB) before submitting the GAS for validation.

When you receive the GAS you should technically edit it using Checklist 5 (73 KB).
