Operationalise

Operationalisation is the term we use to check everything is in place to support the successful implementation of a qualification.

Operationalisation involves:

• coding on our Awards Processing System so candidates can be entered, resulted and certificated
• publication of unit and group award specifications to inform practioners of the delivery and assessment requirements
• ensuring verifiers are in place for qualification approval and verification

If your centre has devolved authority for the validation of group awards then you should complete a DAVAL 1 form (46 KB).
