Approval to deliver a qualification
Each qualification comes with its own unique assessment strategy. Details are documented in the unit and group award specifications.
Qualification approval is a check by us to ensure your centre has the staffing, accommodation, teaching and learning materials, assessment instruments and internal verification procedures in place for standardisation purposes.

Informing the Students Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS)
Once a centre is approved on SQA's APS, SQA informs the Students Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) so centres can access funding.
