This year we’re running the following Understanding Standards webinar and events for Physical Education.
National 5 Physical Education webinar – Tuesday 18 November 2025 from 4 pm to 5.30 pm
This is a joint webinar led by SQA and Education Scotland. It will explain the assessment standards for the National 5 Physical Education portfolio and discuss learning and teaching approaches.
Higher Physical Education event - Tuesday 11 November 2025 from 10 am to 3.30 pm (Glasgow or online)
This is a joint event led by SQA and Education Scotland. It will explain the assessment standards for the Higher Physical Education question paper and discuss learning and teaching approaches.
Advanced Higher Physical Education event - Tuesday 25 November 2025 from 10 am to 3.30 pm (Glasgow or online)
This event will focus on explaining the assessment standards for the Advanced Higher Physical Education project.

Places are limited to one representative from each school, college or training provider.
The events will take place at our offices in Glasgow, with the option to join online for those unable to travel. To book a place, please use our online booking system at athena.sqameet.net. You’ll need a username and password to access the booking system.
